Eastbourne Eco Action Network

On June 22nd 2019, a World Cafe conversation about the Climate Emergency and its implications for Eastbourne was held at the Leaf Hall community centre. Invited guests representing a wide range of local community groups and businesses were guided through a series of carefully structured conversations by a team of facilitators.
What emerged were suggestions for how the town could create more cross-community collaboration to meet the challenges of the Climate Emergency.
It finished on a positive note with David Stopp performing a 'A Journey of Love' a song he wrote and sang for the recent Plastic free campaign. Follow this link for the video https://youtu.be/UMhM0Qj0bEc
The World Cafe was run by the core team of the emergent Eastbourne Eco Action Network, which aims to facilitate effective co-ordination and collaboration between the many groups within the town that have an active interest in environmental issues.
