FSB National Chairman Meets Eastbourne Businesses
The Federation of Small Businesses (FSB Sussex) hosted a round table meeting on Wednesday 26 September at Devonshire Park, where local members were invited to discuss the issues of the day affecting small businesses in East and West Sussex with the National Chairman of the FSB, Mike Cherry OBE, prior to the East Sussex Apprenticeship Graduation, which he also attended.

A range of topics were discussed, including the uncertainty affecting small businesses over the implementation of Brexit, how VAT can severely affect cash flow for small businesses, the recently introduce rating system which is really hurting small entrepreneurs in the hospitality industry, mental health at work and transport for the region, to name but a few.

As well as listening to the concerns of the group of small business people, Mike also outlined how the FSB are lobbying government for better deals for the small business sector.
